Application/Cloud Developer - 3719

MSI is seeking a full stack Software Developer with some exposure to Cloud to support our government client in Herndon, Va.


Key Role

Work as a full stack .NET developer responsible for the design, development, and implementation of Microsoft .NET Web–based applications, mobile applications, solutions, and capabilities for clients within the federal government. Work with clients and stakeholders to analyze business and enterprise requirements. Perform across the software development life cycle, including requirements, design, implementation, and deployment. Follow and adapt approved life cycle methodologies to project needs, create design documents, and perform program coding and unit testing. Analyze strategies to create better collaborations between developers, testers, project managers, and users while using development methods and automated practices. Leverage knowledge to resolve technical issues and to plan and accomplish goals related to the overall success of the program.


Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with working on professional software development teams.
  • 3+ years of experience with object-oriented programming in C#.
  • 3+ years of experience with ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
  • 3+ years of experience with version control in Git or Subversion.
  • 3+ years of experience with relational databases, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • 1+ years of experience with Cloud development in AWS or Azure.
  • 1+ years of experience with SQL and Web application development.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Sec+ certification.
  • BA or BS degree in CS.

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
  • Experience with Web Service and API development.
  • Experience with Web API or .NET Core.
  • Experience with developing solutions using SharePoint 2010, 2013, 2016.
  • Experience with JavaScript visualization libraries, including D3.js.
  • Experience with application development on Windows, Linux, iOS, or Android.
  • MS degree in CS or a related field.
