Voice Engineer/CCIE (Voice or Collaboration) - 3717


 

Our customer is looking for an onsite Voice Engineer to support all network operations and tactical design solutions.  The onsite Lead Voice Engineer will be the go to person for all voice operations and designs for the Air Force in the National Capitol Region.  The customer has a complex Avaya TDM deployment that is being migrated to a Cisco CUCM VoIP only deployment.  Over the next year the Senior Voice Engineer will be part of a team that will upgrade and migrate the entire AF National Capitol Region to CUCM 11.5.  This is a great opportunity to be part of a major VoIP and Collaboration role out and make a major impact on the Air Force’s readiness posture.

The Lead Voice Engineer shall provide Tier 1 thru Tier 3 support for the NIPR VoIP and SIPR VoIP on JBA and JBAB. The Lead Voice Engineer shall ensure the entire VoIP deployment complies with all DISA STIGs and AF TCNOs by implementing firmware, software and hardware changes as necessary. 


Requirements

  • 7-10 years’ experience with Cisco voice and collaboration design and administration
  • Experience with 802.1x
  • Experience with Cisco Prime LMS
  • Experience with Cisco ACS
  • CCIE Voice or Collaboration.  Must have completed the lab and have an active status on the CCIE; CCIE written does not meet the requirement
  • Security+ or better
  • Secret Clearance
