MSI is seeking a Systems Programmer (eDiscovery) to support our government client in Baltimore, MD


Job Description:

12-month contract (possibility for extension)

OSOHE is responsible for the daily operation of SSA's programmatic and business operations. As such, OSOHE has been tasked with planning, implementing, and maintaining the operational environment.

OSOHE consists of fifteen distinct divisions, each with specific technical responsibilities and in-house expertise necessary to ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance to its customers and subject matter expertise to support customer needs.

With the introduction of new tools being implemented throughout the Agency, and in order to effectively plan, implement and maintain a stable operating environment, it is necessary to augment those technical areas to support both legacy and evolving applications and platforms that will be installed throughout the Agency.

Provide support to OGC’s IT staff with the server side operations and maintenance of the existing email archiving infrastructure.

Public Trust 85P Approval required

Support tasks include the following:

•             Installation, building and configuring Windows servers (Windows 2008 R2 and higher)

•             Replacement of server hardware and accessories if required.

•             Working with, provisioning and configuring EMC SAN storage, if required.

•             Configuring/troubleshooting  periodic backups of the eDiscovery infrastructure

•             Periodic application of Microsoft patches to the existing eDiscovery infrastructure

•             Weekend or after-hour infrastructure emergency support if required

•             Familiarity with Email Archiving; including journaling, and retention and disposition of emails.

•             Knowledge of HP/Autonomy eDiscovery software specifically ECA, ALH and Introspect.

•             Basic troubleshooting knowledge of existing HP/Autonomy eDiscovery software.

•             Test, implement and install SQL.

•             Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2013.

•             Familiarity with Active Directory.

•             Fix Windows or SQL issues and email archiving issues.

•             Test security updates in NET-F lab prior to deploying in production

•             Familiar with the EDRM Model

Preferred skills:

•             Working knowledge of Windows Server 2008 R2 and Outlook 2010.

•             Working knowledge with Active Directory.

•             Working knowledge of SharePoint 2013

•             Working knowledge of Exchange 2007, 2013

•             HP Autonomy/HP IDOL
