Job Description:

Charter currently seeks a Senior Project Manager for our Supply Chain IT Department. This role will drive the schedule, scope and budget of projects within the Service Delivery Platform (SDP), which is comprised of the Data Management, Web Services and Service Activation Teams.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Responsible for managing projects for the Supply Chain IT team.
  2. Strong ability to oversee and manage large, complex, diverse and strategic projects that impact the organization as a whole.
  3. Measures and monitors progress to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed expectations.
  4. Tracks costs and performance, service levels and other metrics required to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
  5. Ensures project control systems are in place and integrates project data for decision makers.
  6. Communicates key milestones, issues and project status.
  7. Strong ability implementing program and project plans, conducting risk assessments and developing plans for eliminating or mitigating the identified risks.
  8. Work with internal Charter teams and 3rd party vendors to ensure proper project documentation and requirements are captured and delivered solution meets stated requirements. 

Job Requirements:

  1. Successful candidate will have five or more years solid technical project management experience; experience with project management software and processes with increasing levels of scope and complexity; excellent written, interpersonal and communications skills, as well as PC software skills in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
  2. Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills are a must.
  3. Experience with IT service delivery and Supply Chain preferred.

Education and Certifications:

A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience required.

Project management experience: 5-7 years
Supply Chain / ERP experience: 2-3 years
