SQL DBA - 3593

MSI is seeking a SQL Server DBA in support of Relativity software for our government client in Washington, DC.


Overview

SQL Server Database Administrator that will be responsible for the installation, configuration, performance, consistency, upgrade, administration, monitoring, maintenance, and security of all databases.

The ideal candidate will ensure that all system changes are processed and documented according to change control guidelines, and will make recommendations for improvements based on existing operating procedures to maintain high service-levels is required.

  • Tracking and resolving all database issues related to Production, QA and Development environments.
  • Developing and maintaining healthy databases and ETL processes.
  • Writing scripts for monitoring and reporting on the health of all the databases and systems in the organization.
  • Development, maintenance, and contribution in the design of all Database Schema’s, where applicable.
  • the development and deployment of stored procedures, queries (simple and complex), data transformation and views, and storage management. 

Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain MBI government security clearance (Public Trust).
  • 3-5 years of SQL Server (Progress is a plus) Database Administrator experience, Development and Support Projects.
  • Windows virtualization experience.
  • A background working within IT database administration.
  • A track record for delivering results within a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
  • Knowledge of enterprise systems/program integration architecture and interdependencies.
  • The skills and abilities normally associated with a Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, IT, IS, or similar
  • Undergraduate degree strongly preferred; preferably in the computer science or information management/technology disciplines OR comparable experience.
