Project Coordinator - 3588

MSI is seeking a junior-level Project Coordinator/Data Entry Analyst to support our telecommunications/government client in Herndon, VA.

Job Description:
The Coordinator 1 is responsible for assisting Sales Engineering in developing the documentation necessary for Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) implementation for all US Senate state offices, which are located across the United States. The position will be responsible for working collaboratively with the Corporate Sales Engineering team, other Corporate teams and possibly the Corporate’s subcontractors. All efforts will culminate in the successful transition of all US Senate state offices to their new communications platform.

Job Duties:
• Prepares documentation by compiling, sorting and entering order information.
• Processes source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the Sales Engineering team for resolution.
• Assist in the research of and resolution of inconsistencies.
• Verifies entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data.
• Maintain the document repository.
• Follows order entry methods and procedures.
• Uses general business acumen to support effective engagement for this major initiative.

Required Qualifications:
• U.S. citizenship is required. Individual may also need to submit to a Federal government background investigation.
• 1-4 years of experience in telecommunications.
• Basic understanding of telecommunications (e.g., POTS lines, telephone numbers, etc.).
• Some knowledge of PBXs.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills to organize, evaluate, and present complex data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio. 
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and excel in a fast-paced, high pressure environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
