Job Description:

  • Designs, develops, tests, delivers and supports FileNet P8 5.0 Workplace XT solutions
  • Participates in business requirements gathering sessions (JAD) and technical review sessions
  • Proposes new architectural solutions to Enterprise Architect
  • Documents design and architectural solutions
  • Proposes business process improvements regarding document retention and document workflows
  • Designs, develops and administers various FileNet based workflows
  • Provides capture solutions for various business units for scanning and storage of their critical documents
  • Configures, maintains and supports Content Engine and Application Engine; configures, maintains and supports document management platform
  • Troubleshoots production problems, reviews trace and system logs and works with product service providers to resolve issues and open PMR’s
  • Ensures application is meeting Service Level Agreement (SLA) metrics
  • Manages the change process for the application(s) supported
  • Works with the development and quality assurance organizations when application enhancements are required or bugs are found
  • Communicates technical issues to product managers and project managers.

Required Skills:

  • Experience designing, implementing and supporting IBM FileNet BPM system
  • Must have at least 5+ years of working experience with FileNet technologies
  • Demonstrated ability in the following applications:
  • IBM FileNet P8 Content Engine 5.x/4.x
  • IBM FileNet P8 Process Engine 5.x/4.x
  • IBM FileNet P8 Application Engine 4.x
  • Application Server such as WebSphere 7.x (required)
  • Database Server such as Oracle 11g (required)
  • Operating system experience with Windows 2003/08 (required) and Linux (required)
  • Must have a strong experience in IBM Case Manager
  • Must have a strong familiarity with business process management and workflow concepts
  • Hands on experience with the FileNet P8 Components and APIs
  • Strong Systems Administration skills for FileNet P8 Platform
  • Strong knowledge of WebSphere, Oracle & Linux
  • Strong knowledge of IBM MQ
  • Ability to take ownership of FileNet P8 5.1 Platform related production issues
  • Well aware of Content, Application & Process Engines
  • In addition to FileNet P8 expertise, candidate must have a sufficient understanding of Windows, Linux, Oracle, and WebSphere to perform basic diagnostic tasks as well as communicate effectively with their respective system administrators
  • Good J2EE Hands-on experience
  • Good working knowledge with building jar and ear files, code repositories like Rational Team Concert, build tools – Gradle, Jenkins, Sonar, Artifactory
  • Strong knowledge of identity management, single sign-on and authentication products including SiteMinder and Ping Federate
  • Capable of complex problem solving and demonstrate strong technical debugging skills. Leverage his/her knowledge of the FileNet Platform for the applications support
  • Coordinates with users and QA partners to determine issues
  • Strong communication skills
  • Exception problem-solving/analytical skills
