Program Manager II - 3563

Metro Systems Inc. is looking for a Program Manager II to join our rapidly expanding team in Northern Virginia

Basic Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with experience in a fast and growing industry. We are growing rapidly in existing regions as well as expanding into new regions.
  • As a member of this team, you will work with global NSI leadership to:
  • Improve vendors’ payments experience and driving operational efficiency
  • Conduct operational analysis and cost optimization 
  • Create budgetary controls and forecasting with ability to provide clear executive level explanations and guidance
  • Successfully build relationship with finance and other stakeholders to develop budget/forecast
  • Partner with operations to analyze processes to surface pain point and develop cost models designed to drive efficiency
  • Serve as a key team member working directly with internal stakeholders to provide process improvement, metric and recommendations. 
  • Ability to structure problems, perform analysis, and present to your business partners
  • Report weekly, and monthly operating metrics
  • Analyze business and project results for key takeaways to achieve business objectives
  • Monitor vendor compliance with controls and systems, and developing new processes to support the fast-growing, global business
  • Develop detailed and creative solutions to complex problems, while keeping a watchful eye on timelines and costs
  • BS degree and experience in an IT/Operations/Finance - related fields
  • Excellent organizational skills and project tracking abilities; experience of procurement and logistics, strong focus and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced, hectic, and energetic environment, yet able to maintain high quality standards; project/task prioritization and schedule development
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels
  • Ability to succeed and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and develop productive working relationships 
  • Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Process oriented with strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization abilities
  • Advanced modeling skills including advanced Excel skills
  • Solid business judgment and controllership focus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer focused, professional demeanor
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
  • A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations
