MSI is seeking a HR Generalist for our client in Baltimore, MD! This individual administers human resources policies and procedures that cover two or more functional areas. Collects and analyzes HR data, and then makes recommendations to management. Processes paperwork for functional area according to established procedures. Responsibilities:

  • May prepare internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies.
  • Coordinating accommodations
  • Making phone calls following up on accommodations process and making sure it is implemented successfully
  • Must be proficient using Microsoft suite; lots of work will be done online and via the internal tracking tool.

Required Skills:

  • Any HR background or experience with ADA, FMLA, or short term disability (1-2 years)
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be fluent in English other languages are a plus.
  • Customer obsessed
  • Team player that will work hard in a team setting
  • Accountable
  • Ability to adapt to change-(this is a new team trying to scale to the growth of the entire company
  • Ability to take initiative even when you aren’t instructed to move. 

Preferred:

  • Leave and disability experience or general knowledge around this.
  • College degree or HR experience. (Associates or Bachelors degree)
