Desired Skills:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Senior level analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills as it relates to network engineering;
  • Demonstrated experience of installation, configuration, and troubleshooting Juniper routers, Juniper firewalls, Juniper VPN, and Cisco switches
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to work as part of a team in a fast paced, technical environment.
  • Demonstrated experience of installation, configuration, and troubleshooting Palo Alto Devices, and/or Pulse Secure VPN devices.
  • Experience with managing and troubleshooting Certificate Authority servers in a mobile environment.
  • Working knowledge of mobile device security to advise and assist in the approval and deployment process.
  • Understands, complies with, and implements technologies in accordance with IA standards such as: NSA's Mobile Access Capability Package, and Commercial Solutions for Classified Programs.
  • VPN experience in mobile devices.
  • Network Certifications such as: CCNA, Network+, CCNP

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.  Considered an emerging authority. Additional years of experience can be substituted for Associate’s Degree or High School Diploma/GED.
  • Candidate must possess a valid and current DOD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret. 
  • Ability to eventually work the 2nd shift. (2pm - 10pm, M-F).
  • No IAT level certification required. However, Security+ and/or JNCIA (or equivalent Juniper certification) desired.
