Right now, our hiring team is in pursuit of a Product Designer for our Innovation Team who has the drive to lead, evolve and elevate all phases of our design process.

 What you’ll do… 

  • Createuser-centered design solutions that emphasize ease of use, employ best-in-class interaction design, and improve the customer experience
  • Work throughout all phases of the design process such as conceptual design, storyboards, persona/scenario development, user task/interaction flow diagrams, information hierarchy, wireframes and prototypes
  • Identify user research needs and participate in immersive user research, concept testing, and usability testing 
  • Facilitate the discovery process to ensure that both problem statements and solution ideas are driven from customer insights.You will continuously seek and integrate user feedback and test results to optimize solutions
  • Partner with product, business and engineering teams to plan and develop effective customer experiences
  • Draw on your mastery of user-centered design methodologies to influence product teams and arrive at the solution that best meets the needs of our customers
  • Collaborate across multiple teams to ensure continuity across all customer touch points.
  • Integrate multiple considerations including business goals, interaction best practices, brand standards, and technology constraints

About you…

  • Strong organization and analytic thinking skills, with ability to translate complex content into user scenarios, flows and diagrams
  • A passion for innovation and experience with establishing the design practice and selecting the right tools to prototype and demonstrate the benefits of good design
  • Continuous learner, seeking out new solutions

Some things you have experience with…

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Design, Human Factors or related discipline preferre.
  • Five or more years of applied experience in experience design
  • Proven track record of collaborating with cross-department team
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills (comfortable in interacting with all levels of the company and presenting projects and status reports)
  • Experience with responsive web design, mobile app design and a working knowledge of HTML and CSS are helpful
  • Experience gained in either an insurance or insurance related business or a retail environment.
