Database Administrator - 3435


Key Role:

Evaluate and recommend available database management system products to support validated user requirements. Analyze file organization, indexing methods, and security procedures for specific users or applications. Maintain Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases on a day–to–day basis. Maintain responsibility for backup and recovery operations for servers. Perform quality control of ingest and transform processes and products produced. Perform rudimentary Linux systems administrative functions. Maintain responsibility for entity relational diagrams and documentation of Oracle configuration.


Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with information technology, software development, or software design

-4+ years of experience with Oracle database administration

-1 year of experience with Linux administration

-Experience with Oracle RAC

-Knowledge of government–wide system design, information technology equipment, and services

-Knowledge of methodology, federal information system policies, including NIST 800.53, FISMA, Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), and configuration management, and federal agency missions and processes

-Active Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with SQL Server

Clearance:
