Desktop Implementation - 1435


Metro systems Inc. is looking for a qualified candidate for a help desk position with its client on-site at the Pentagon.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides phone and in-person support to customers in the areas of e-mail, directories, standard Windows desktop applications, and applications developed under this contract or predecessors.
  • Serves as the initial point of contact for trouble-shooting hardware/software PC and printer problems.
  • Disconnect existing computer systems and install new VDI zero-client machines.
  • Conduct analysis of product installations, modifications and enhancements in accordance with documented procedures and specific customer specifications.
  • Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution.
  • Assesses customer needs in accordance with customer specifications.
  • Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers and act as local on-site representative for this deployment.

Required:

  • Must have excellent communication and strong customer service support skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Secret Clearance

Preferred:

  • A+ , Sec+, Net+ certification
